David Scott Limbaugh (born December 11, 1952) is a conservative American political commentator and author who has also worked as a professor and as a lawyer. He is the younger brother of talk radio host Rush Limbaugh.
What is the life and career of David Limbaugh like?
Rush Limbaugh was born on December 11, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. His parents were Mildred Carolyn “Millie” (Armstrong) and Rush Hudson Limbaugh Jr. His paternal grandfather, Rush Hudson Limbaugh Sr., was a prominent figure in Missouri as a state representative, lawyer, and U.S Ambassador.
After completing high school, Limbaugh pursued higher education at Southeast Missouri State University from 1971 to 1972. He then transferred to the University of Missouri where he accomplished his graduation with honors in political science. He continued his education journey by attending law school at the same university and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1978.
Aside from academics, Limbaugh served six years in the National Guard. As an author, he has penned columns for Creators Syndicate, Townhall.com, WorldNetDaily and Jewish World Review. Furthermore, he represents several conservative talk radio hosts as an agent.
Presently practicing as a partner at The Limbaugh Firm specializing in entertainment law. In addition to this legal work and being an author himself, Christian authors Norman Geisler and Frank Turek selected him to write the foreword for their book titled ‘I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist’ published by Crossway in 2004.
In this book he openly describes his transition from skeptic to Christian faith follower revealing his keen interest in Christian apologetics. Presently identifying himself as an evangelical Christian.
